Miners trapped, intensified patrolling of streets, Russian losses in the south: last night's highlights

Miners trapped underground
854 miners were underground at the time of the Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih. Thanks to the rescue operation, all of them are already free, but almost 100 miners remained trapped as of the evening of October 10.
As the military administration of the city noted, the miners were raised to the surface by 2 a.m. this morning.
Enhanced patrolling of Kyiv Oblast
In Kyiv Oblast, patrolling of streets in the evening and at night has been intensified. This is due to the fact that local authorities and energy companies will save electricity and reduce the load on the network.
"We understand that in the dark we need to help our citizens safely get home so that they do not have a crime or administrative offense committed against them," said the head of the regional police.
Losses of Russians in the south
Ukrainian troops on the southern front destroyed more than 170 Russian troops, 21 units of their equipment and two warehouses with ammunition.
