A coordination headquarters consisting of representatives of the National Police, National Guard, State Emergency Service, State Migration Service, and other services work around the clock in the city.

One of the protesters told hromadske that he came to the rally to remind the Kyiv authorities that "it is necessary to allocate funds primarily for the Armed Forces, and not to spend them on things that can be implemented after the victory."

Activist Roman Abrashyn decided to spill red paint on the KCSA sign in protest. He was detained and handed two administrative reports.

According to Abrashyn, he is a volunteer, and each fundraiser is getting harder and harder to collect. According to him, his anger was provoked by the way the city authorities allocate expenses during the war.

"Whatever happened, happened. It resulted in action. Just coming out with a poster was not enough for me. We came and went with a poster, but paint has a greater psychological impact," he explained.

A temporary corridor to the ports

Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov said that the Palau-flagged bulk carriers RESILIENT AFRICA and AROYAT had confirmed their readiness to use the temporary corridor to the Chornomorsk port to load nearly 20,000 tons of wheat for African and Asian countries.

Previously, the corridor established by the Ukrainian Navy was used only to evacuate ships stuck in the Ukrainian ports of Chornomorsk, Odesa, and Pivdennyi due to the war.

Kubrakov noted that after the disruption of the grain deal in mid-July, as of September 16, Russia had launched 118 strikes on Ukrainian ports, damaging or destroying a third of the port infrastructure.
