The mayor of Chernihiv claims the Presidential Office has pressured the court
Chernihiv Mayor Vladyslav Atroshenko accused representatives of the Presidential Office of exerting pressure on the court, which decided to deprive him of the right to hold office for a year. He added that he would appeal because he considers it “a matter of honor”.

Investigators found that the Ukrainian lawmaker plotted to purchase and maintain two luxury condominiums in Beverly Hills while concealing his involvement in the transactions from U.S. financial institutions. The deputy faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.

Christmas tree in Kharkiv subway
On December 7, a Christmas tree was set up at the Universytet metro station in Kharkiv. Its height is 5.5 meters.
