New personnel decisions

Overnight raid near Nova Kakhovka

On the night of January 24, a special purpose intelligence group with the participation of the Armed Forces conducted a reconnaissance raid into the occupiers' rear in the area of Nova Kakhovka. Grenade launchers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine engaged the enemy and destroyed a house where the Russian command post was located.

The intelligence noted that during the battle the enemy suffered significant losses, in particular, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed at least 12 occupiers, an 82A armored personnel carrier, and captured a prisoner. After completing the task, the group returned to the west bank of the Dnipro.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi received $1 million as an inheritance and transferred it to the needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

"I have given my whole life to the Armed Forces. I had no doubt what I should do with my inheritance. The last will of Mr. Gregory Stepanets was obviously to support the Ukrainian army in my person. I am grateful to everyone who helps the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And I am grateful to my family for their understanding," Zaluzhnyi said.

Delivery of Abrams tanks to Ukraine may take months

Pentagon to increase production of ammunition for Ukraine

The US Department of Defense plans to increase the production of artillery rounds by 500% within two years. Thus, the production of 155-millimeter shells, which Kyiv needs, will increase to 90,000 per month in two years. The need to supply Ukraine's armed forces prompted the Pentagon to triple its ammunition production targets in September and then double them again in January.
