The Sunday Show: Ukraine-Russia Prisoner Exchange and Local Elections in Russia

Watch The Sunday Show!
The Sunday Show is back! And we have a lot to discuss. On September 7 Ukraine and Russia exchanged prisoners. 35 Ukrainians have returned home and 35 Ukrainian, Russian and Moldovan citizens were given away to Russia by Ukraine. Last week, Ukraine welcomed the Parliament of the ninth convocation where Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Servant of the People party got a single-party majority back in July. Thus it didn’t take them too long to appoint a new government, the youngest one in Ukraine’s history. But Moscow has also been on everyone’s lips as Russians took to the streets to show discontent with how Moscow City Council Elections have been handled. Election Day is this Sunday and without a doubt, there will be even more things to talk about with the experts in our studio, as well as those from Moscow. The first Sunday Show of the new season will feature Servant of the People Sviatoslav Yurash, Golos MP Oleksandra Ustinova, head of the board at Center for Civil Liberties Olexandra Matviychuk, as well as the Ukraine Business News editor-in-chief James Brooke among others. The show will be hosted by Hromadske Radio's Andriy Kulykov.
