New Ukraine Regulations "A Bad Sign For Investors"

While new airline regulations in Ukraine are not technically illegal, they do send a bad signal to investors since they favor domestic airline companies, said Volodymyr Bilotkach, Co-Editor of Journal of Air Transport Management and a Senior Lecturer in Economics at Newcastle University. Bilotkach joined two dozen academics, analysts, representatives of business and financial sectors all around the world who signed a statement last week condemning these new regulations and urging further public discussion about these regulations before they are enacted.
