The Russian military continues to try to advance in the east. Active hostilities continue on the Donetsk axis, according to the update of the General Staff of the Armed Forces as of 6 am on May 30.

On the Siverskyi axis, the Russians launched air strikes on facilities in the Sumy Oblast near the settlements of Zapsillya and Myropillya, and carried out artillery shelling near Kindrativka.

On the Kharkiv axis, the Russians fired on areas north and northeast of Kharkiv and the settlements of Ruski Tyshky, Cherkaski Tyshky, Ruska Lozova, Pytomnyk, Borshchova, and Peremoha.

On the Slovyansk axis, the occuppiers are regrouping troops to resume the offensive on the Izyum-Barvinkove and Izyum-Slovyansk axes. To provide air support to units in the area north of Izyum, the Russians have a helicopter squadron (a unit of 12-24 units of equipment) of Ka-52 ready.

In order to provide logistics and replenish the units that suffered casualties, the occupiers moved more than 250 weapons and military equipment to the temporarily occupied settlements. To increase the efficiency of the transfer of troops and equipment, the Russians rebuilt the railway bridge near the city of Kupyansk.

On the Donetsk axis, the invaders are concentrating on the offensive to surround the Armed Forces in the Lysychansk and Severodonetsk districts and block the main logistics routes.

On the Lyman axis, the Russians gained a foothold in the city of Lyman, regrouping for a further attack on Slovyansk. On the Severodonetsk axis, the occupiers are consolidated on the northeastern and southeastern outskirts of Severodonetsk. Ammunition and equipment were transferred from Russia to strengthen the occupying forces.

On the Bakhmut axis, the Russians are regrouping for a further offensive in the direction of Oleksandropillya — Komyshuvakha. The occupiers did not conduct active hostilities on the Kurakhove and Novopavlivka axes. They are shelling the Armed Forces, in particular, involving operational-tactical and army aircraft.

On the Zaporizhzhya axis, the occupiers strengthened the grouping as a result of moving from Melitopol towards Vasylivka up to 120 units of weapons and military equipment.

On the Pivdennyi Buh axis, the Russians continue to focus on maintaining the occupied borders, restraining the actions of the Armed Forces and preventing the transfer of Ukrainian army reserves to other areas. To make up for the losses, the Russians are moving decommissioned military equipment from Russia and the occupied Crimea.

In the Mykolayiv axis, for the purpose of offensive for return of the lost positions occupiers involved additional divisions. On the Kryvyi Rih axis, the Russians continue artillery shelling of the Armed Forces and are engaged in counterbattery. No significant changes were detected in the Black and Azov Seas.
