The Lefortovo District Court of Moscow took two days to go over the case of the Ukrainian servicemen captured by Russia’s State Security Service off the Kerch Strait in occupied Crimea. The detention was extended for another three months for all 24 of them.

Despite not being allowed to attend the actual hearing, 17 family members of the Ukrainians had managed to make it to Moscow. For them, the fact that the men will be heading to the courthouse is an opportunity to see them and exchange a few words while the prisoners are escorted into the courtroom.
