Over 7000 Coronavirus Cases Confirmed in Ukraine

As of April 23, Ukraine has confirmed 7,170 cases of the novel coronavirus in the country, according to data from the Center for Public Health. 578 new cases were confirmed over the previous day, out of 4,776 tested. 187 people in Ukraine had died from the virus, while 504 have recovered.

4,862 people are currently receiving outpatient treatment at home, while 2,308 have been hospitalized, including 103 children and 223 medical workers. Medical workers as a whole make up a significant portion of coronavirus patients in the country, with approximately one-fifth of all cases - 1,386 - being medical workers.

Ukraine has in total tested over 72 thousand people for the coronavirus.
