Press Freedom In Ukraine Is Under Threat, Say Activists

The newly established Ministry of Information could pose a serious threat to the freedom of the press in Ukraine, according a group of journalists, activists and MPs who staged a protest against the establishment of this new ministry outside of the Parliament building. Yuri Stets, acting Minister of Information, has strong ties to Ukraine's president, Petro Poroshenko.
