Pre-trial restraint for Dubinskyi
The Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv has imposed a preventive measure on MP Oleksandr Dubinskyi in the form of a personal commitment.
In particular, the MP must wear an electronic bracelet until October 8, surrender his passports, not leave the Kyiv region without the permission of the prosecutor or investigating judge, and refrain from communicating with witnesses in the case.

Government liquidates the Office of the Commissioner for Missing Persons
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to liquidate the Office of the Commissioner for Persons Missing in Special Circumstances, which, among other things, was responsible for the exchange of bodies of fallen servicemen.
In a commentary to us, Commissioner Oleh Kotenko noted that over more than a year of work, he and his team managed to meet with more than 10,000 relatives of missing persons, and most of them received answers. He says he will continue to help people as much as he can, "but it will be difficult without the authority".

New attacks
At night, the Russian occupation forces carried out a massive drone attack on the Rivne region - they hit an oil depot in the Dubno district. It was destroyed, but there were no casualties.
In the evening, the Russian military attacked a hotel building in Zaporizhzhia. A fire broke out at the site. One person was reported dead and 11 were injured.

The occupiers also shelled the village of Podoly in the Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region: one person was killed and one was wounded. Ukrainian Navy announces temporary corridors to Ukrainian ports
The Ukrainian Navy has announced temporary corridors for merchant ships sailing to and from Ukrainian ports. These routes will primarily be used for the exit of civilian vessels that have been in the Ukrainian ports of Chornomorsk, Odesa, and Pivdennyi since the start of the full-scale invasion.
However, along all routes, there is a military threat and mine danger from Russian troops. Due to the Russian blockade of the ports, the last ship with Ukrainian food left the port of Odesa on July 16.
Demolition of a 200-year-old house in Kyiv
The Kyiv police have opened a criminal investigation into the demolition of a house at 13 Yaroslavska Street, one of the oldest wooden houses in Podil, which was about 200 years old.
Dmytro Perov, an activist and defender of Kyiv's cultural heritage, told hromadske that the work was approved by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, but the developer did not receive permission from the local cultural heritage protection authority.
The MCIP told us that they had not seen this building in the register of monuments, even of local significance, and that the register is not managed by the Ministry of Culture, but by the Department of Cultural Heritage Protection of Kyiv. This department told hromadske that the building was not registered as a cultural heritage site. However, the department still had to agree on the work, which, however, did not happen.
ZNPP lost power from the main line
At night, the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant lost power from the main 750 kV external power line. As a result, the plant was on the verge of another blackout.
The plant had to switch to the only available backup line of 330 kV, the disconnection of which threatens to lose external power, i.e., a blackout. In such a scenario, the main threat to nuclear and radiation safety is posed by ZNPP Unit 4 being in a "hot shutdown" state, in which the occupiers operate in violation of the terms of the operating license.
