New EU sanctions

The EU wants to apply sanctions to almost 30 people and 8 companies. The list includes the ideologue of the "Russian World", Aleksandr Dugin, the leader of the Lyube band, Nikolay Rastorguyev, and the largest shareholder of the Kalashnikov concern, Alan Lushnikov, writes Politico.

Success of the Armed Forces in the south

On September 28, the aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the southern front carried out six strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian manpower, weapons, and hardware, as well as on the positions of Russian air defense.

The OK “South” confirmed that on September 28, the Russian occupation forces on the southern front lost 18 soldiers, 2 tanks, and 6️ armored and automotive vehicles.

Commanders from Azovstal will meet their relatives

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the commanders from Azovstal, who are currently in Turkey, will soon be able to meet their relatives.

He noted that the implementation of the plan to help each of those who were recently released from captivity has already begun. They will receive first aid and primarily medical support.

More air defense systems from Germany

Germany decided to transfer four IRIS-T SLM air defense systems to Ukraine, although only one was initially planned.

“Substantial restriction” of the rights of Russians to enter Finland

On September 29, the Finnish government will adopt a resolution that will “significantly restrict” the right of Russian citizens to enter the country as tourists.

In addition, it is planned to limit Russians' use of Finland for transit when traveling to other Schengen countries. Furthermore, government officials will consider ways to strengthen control of the border between Finland and Russia with the help of a border fence.

Putin's pressure on Lukashenko

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov, said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is putting pressure on self-proclaimed President Oleksandr Lukashenko every day to start armed aggression on the part of Belarus.

I do not think that Lukashenko will make such a decision. But if troops march from the side of Belarus, as was the case on February 24, they will receive a response they did not expect,” Danilov noted.
