Russia has figured out how to link Ukraine and the Crocus City Hall terrorist attack
Half a day after the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall music center near Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Ukrainian side had allegedly prepared a "window" at the border to receive the suspected shooters.
Prior to that, the Russian Federal Security Service had stated almost the same thing: that the suspects intended to travel to Ukraine after the attack because they had "relevant contacts" there.
And even earlier, Russian television broadcast a fake video from the allegedly Ukrainian telethon "United News" in which the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov hints at Ukraine's involvement in organizing the shooting.
In a comment to hromadske, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine noted that it is difficult to imagine that the alleged criminals would try to flee towards Ukraine in conditions when a full-scale war has been going on for more than two years and the border regions of Russia are "extremely saturated with security forces, special services, and the military," and the border itself is mined and in some places there are hostilities.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the Russian regime is always trying to shift responsibility to others. He called Putin a "nobody" who, instead of "dealing with his Russian citizens, addressing them, was silent for a day, thinking about how to link the terrorist attack to Ukraine."
The destruction of Russians in occupied Melitopol
On March 22, the Main Intelligence Directorate, together with the local resistance movement, struck at a cluster of Russian troops in the temporarily occupied Melitopol in Zaporizhzhya Oblast.
According to preliminary data, about 20 Russian soldiers, two Kamaz tilt trucks, and a UAZ Patriot car were attacked.
Attack on oil refineries in Russia
The authorities of Samara Oblast of Russia claim that on the night of March 23, drones attacked oil refineries in the region. A primary oil processing column caught fire at the Kuibyshev refinery.
Ukrainian authorities and the military traditionally do not comment on strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Restoration of the power system
In the morning, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the restoration work after Russia's massive attack on the energy sector on March 22: according to him, the technical ability to supply electricity has been restored in almost all regions.
