Russian forces are likely to continue intensifying offensives on Sloviansk and Siversk. At the same time, in Kherson Oblast, the Ukrainian Armed Forces resumed a counteroffensive, threatening Russia's position north of Kherson, says Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

Analysts say that in Luhansk Oblast, Russian forces conducted offensive east and west of Popasna, likely interdicting Ukrainian ground lines of communication to Lysychansk and Severodonetsk. Russian forces withdrew to their previously occupied position after conducting unsuccessful attacks on Mykolaivka and Berestove (Donetsk Oblast).

Serhiy Haidai, Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, said that Russian troops had entered Orikhove and were strengthening their position on the northern outskirts of the village. At the same time, ISW, citing geolocation videos, assumes that Russian and Chechen units have also taken control over a train station in Komyshuvakha and are likely to try to connect with units advancing from Orikhove.

The ISW notes that on June 11, Russian troops resumed attacks on settlements southwest and southeast of Izyum in an attempt to advance on Sloviansk axis. Ukrainian forces repelled Russian attacks on Brazhkivka, Virnopillya, and Dolyna. ISW, citing geolocation videos, assumes that Russian troops entered the northern outskirts of Bohorodychne on June 11.

The images also showed that Russian forces constructed a new bridge along the Russian GLOCs to Izyum in southeastern Kharkiv Oblast. This may indicate that Russian forces will continue to intensify offensive operations in Sloviansk and Siversk.

At the same time, analysts noted that Ukrainian forces likely resumed counteroffensives northwest of Kherson on June 11, threatening Russia's position north of the city. Russian forces did not resume offensive operations in Zaporizhia Oblast on June 11.
