Peter Pomerantsev: "Russia uses information as a weapon"

Peter Pomerantsev, british TV producer, writer, journalist, explained in an interview with Hromadske International what is specific about how Russia uses the information and what dangers it brings for its own citizens and the whole world. He says that Russia uses information as an ideological weapons not to inform or persuade about something, but to demoralize people, to spread confusion among them, to create sabotage. He also emphasized that the western countries have enough knowledge, but lack of caring about what is going on in Ukraine. Finally, Peter Pomerantsev proposed what can Europe and Ukraine do against Russian propaganda machine and what reaction Ukraine should expect from the West nowadays.
