Russian forces attacked Vinnytsia, killing 23 people, including 3 children (UPDATED)

Russian attack on Vinnytsia killed 23 people, 5 injured people are in critical condition, 42 people are considered missing, reports the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (updated at 7:40 p.m. local time).
21 person, including 3 children, lost their lives due to Russian missile attacks on Vinnytsia on July 14. 52 people are injured, including 3 children. 46 people are considered missing, reports Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko (updated at 4:40 p.m. local time).

More than 50 people, including two children, were hospitalized, 34 are in serious condition, reported Viktor Vitovetskyi, Director of the Department of Organization of Civil Protection Measures of the State Emergency Service (updated at 4:10 p.m. local time).

Russia attacked the crowded center of Vinnytsia around 10:45 a.m. local time on July 14. Serhiy Borzov, the Head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, reported that the Air Defence Forces defense had shot down 4 missiles over the Vinnytsia Oblast.

The Russian forces hit Vinnytsia with Kalibr cruise missiles from a submarine in the Black Sea, Yuriy Ihnat, the spokesman for the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said.

The National Police of Ukraine said 3 Russian rockets targeted an office building. The attack also damaged the House of Officers, the medical diagnostic center, about 55 houses and 40 cars.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi reacted to the rocket attack on Vinnytsia: "Every day, Russia destroys the civilian population, kills Ukrainian children, directs rockets at civilian objects. Where there is nothing military. What is this, if not an open act of terrorism?"
