Russian troops shell Kryvyi Rih with Grads, killing 1, injuring 2

Russian occupying troops once again fired at residential quarters of the Inhuletskyi district of Kryvyi Rih inDnipropetrovsk Oblast using Grad rocket launchers,announced the head of the regional military administration Valentyn Reznichenko on Telegram.

"The enemy does not stop terrorizing our towns and villages. In the morning, Russian troops shelled the Inhuletskyi district of Kryvyi Rih," he said.

A 41-year-old woman was killed as a result of the Grad shelling, and two more people were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds.

"The school and several houses were damaged. A car parked next to it burned down," wrote the regional governor.

The head of the military administration of Kryvyi Rih, Oleksandr Vilkul, said that the shelling took place from a distance of more than 70 kilometers from the area between the settlements of Novoraysk and Kostyrka. The occupiers fired 10 rockets at the city.

The woman who died was a kindergarten cook born in 1981. At that moment she was going to work. The injured girl, born in 2002, has serious damage to her heart and liver, doctors are fighting for her life. A man born in 1979 has multiple shrapnel wounds of medium severity.

"Thanks to our soldiers, the front line was moved to the Kherson Oblast to a distance of up to 50 kilometers from the city. But Tornado-S, Smerch, and missiles continue to pose a serious danger," he said.

The situation in the region

There are no active hostilities in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. However, the threat of missile strikes remains.

For example, on July 6, occupation forces shelled the region in the evening. As a result, three people were injured, one of them suffering serious wounds.

Russia also fired seven missiles at the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on the morning of July 5. Ukrainian air defense managed to shoot down six of them, the seventh hit the detached housing district in the city of Pokrov. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.
