Director General of ZNPP set free

The Russian occupiers have released the General Director of Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant Ihor Murashov, who was "temporarily detained" on September 30.

Energoatom reported that Murashov was "thrown out" to the territory controlled by Ukraine in the evening of October 3. Now he is safe and is in the External Crisis Center of Zaporizhzhya NPP in Zaporizhzhya. The release of the kidnapped Murashov was possible due to wide publicity and the efforts of the IAEA, Energoatom points out.

The judge of the Supreme Court confirmed Russian citizenship

The Security Service of Ukraine confirmed that Supreme Court Judge Bohdan Lvov is a Russian citizen, as previously reported by investigative journalists. But despite this, the judges of the Cassation Economic Court of the Supreme Court failed to dismiss Lvov from his post — by one vote.

However, Lvov must be dismissed despite the vote of the Panel of Judges: according to the law on the judiciary, a judge cannot have dual citizenship. Therefore, the judge terminates his powers in case of termination of Ukrainian citizenship or acquisition of citizenship of another state. The relevant decision on dismissal is now to be made by the Chairman of the Supreme Court.
