Shelling of Avdiivka and Kramatorsk
Russian occupation troops shelled Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast several times on December 25, resulting in one person being wounded. The occupants also attacked Kramatorsk with missiles. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration Pavlo Kyrylenko.
Russians hit Kramatorsk with three missiles. They hit one of the industrial enterprises. Workshops and equipment were damaged, but there were no casualties.
Occupiers are making numerous attacks on Avdiivka. In the morning they shelled the city with artillery and Grad MLRS with incendiary elements. A woman was wounded as a result of the shelling.
Russian fighter jet caught fire at the airfield in Belarus
Monitoring group “Belarusian Hajun” said that today, on December 25, at the airfield in Machulishchi, the engine of one of the Russian army MiG-31K fighters, which can carry Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, caught fire.
According to the monitoring group, the aircraft is out of order and the damage will not allow it to fly in the near future.
“Whether the age of the machine is to blame [...] or the unprofessionalism of the flight crew [...] but the fact of temporary disabling of a potential source of death for the Ukrainian people on Christmas can be considered a miracle,” wrote “Belarusian Hajun”.
Fire at an oil refinery in Belarus
In the Vitebsk region of Belarus, a fire broke out on the territory of Naftan, the largest oil refinery in the country, which is under sanctions. The fire was reported in the main department of the Ministry of Emergencies of Belarus in the Vitebsk region.
There were no casualties as a result of this fire, and the operation of the plant and the technological process were not disturbed. The cause of the fire and damages will be determined by the commission of the enterprise.
A warehouse was on fire in Murmansk
On the evening of December 24, a warehouse caught fire in Murmansk. According to official information, the warehouse allegedly stored paints and varnishes. However, several local and federal Russian media noted that the fire was at the supply base “Factor”, which specializes in the supply of workwear and personal protective equipment. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is not called.
A shopping center caught fire in the Kuban
On the morning of December 25, a fire broke out in the Vega shopping center in the village of Tbiliskaya, Krasnodar Krai of Russia. The fire covered an area of 1000 square meters. This was reported by local media.
Rescuers conducted a reconnaissance of the premises, no evacuation was carried out, and no one was injured in the fire.
