Consequences of the Russian attack on Ukraine on January 14
As a result of the attack of the Russian occupation troops on several facilities in Ukraine on January 14, there was a large shortage of generation in the power system. This was announced by YASNO CEO Serhii Kovalenko.
“The problem is so serious that Ukrenergo has significantly limited the volume of consumption throughout Ukraine and in Kyiv in particular... The destruction is significant,” he said.
According to him, distribution system operators must adhere to these restrictions in order not to worsen the state of the system. Therefore, emergency shutdowns may be applied, but the power must be supplied to critical infrastructure facilities.
A number of thermal power plants are not working due to serious damage. It is too early to predict the recovery time, Kovalenko said.

Molfar investigators identified 44 Russians involved in attack on high-rise building in Dnipro
OSINT community Molfar has identified the Russians involved in the attack on a high-rise building in Dnipro. This is stated in the Molfar investigation.
They point out that, according to the head of the territorial defense of Dnipro Hennadii Korban, the shelling of a residential high-rise building was carried out by the 52nd Guards Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment based in the city of Shaykivka.
This is the same aviation regiment that committed the terrorist attack on the Amstor shopping center in Kremenchuk on June 27, 2022. Then The Guardian found evidence that it was a planned terrorist act by Russia.
Molfar identified all the persons involved in the terrorist shelling of a residential building in Dnipro. They published the names of crew commanders, pilots, technicians, and staff members.
