The German government announced the transfer of new military aid to Ukraine. Among the transferred weapons are 30 Dingo armored vehicles and missiles for the Iris-T air defense system. This is stated in the updated list of military aid for Ukraine on the website of the Federal Government of Germany.

The Ukrainian military also received 18 reconnaissance drones, five M1070 Oshkosh heavy tractors, and one forklift in addition to the two previously sent. In addition, the Germans handed over 18 systems of protection against drones and their search.

The European Commission has officially proposed an assistance plan for Ukraine worth €18 billion

The European Commission proposes to provide Ukraine with EUR 18 billion of macro-financial support in 2023. Every month during the year it is planned to allocate 1.5 billion euros. This is stated on the website of the European Commission.

The assistance will be spent on basic state functions, ensuring macroeconomic stability, and restoring critical infrastructure. Now the decision must be adopted by the European Parliament.

Russians are ordered to retreat from the right bank of Kherson Oblast

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu ordered Russian troops to retreat from the right bank of Kherson Oblast, in particular from Kherson. This is reported by the Russian propaganda publication TASS and RIA Novosti.

Thus, Shoigu agreed to order the withdrawal of troops after the corresponding proposal of the commander of the occupation troops Sergei Surovikin. He said that Russian forces would occupy “prepared” defensive lines and positions on the left bank of the Dnipro. According to Surovikin, the withdrawal of troops “will be carried out as soon as possible”.

Trying to explain the need for the withdrawal of troops, Surovikin mentioned the traditional theses that Ukraine allegedly “carries out indiscriminate shelling of the city”, and the Russians care “about the life of each of their soldiers”.

Ukraine sees no signs of Russian retreat from Kherson

A significant part of the Russian group remains in Kherson, and additional reserves are being brought to the occupied region. This was stated by Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office Mykhailo Podolyak.

According to him, Ukraine sees no signs that Russian troops will leave Kherson without a fight.

Ukraine is liberating territories based on intelligence data, not on staged TV statements,” Podolyak emphasized.

Occupants blew up a number of bridges in Kherson Oblast

Russian occupation troops in the Kherson Oblast blew up the Dariivka and Tiahynka bridges and the bridge at the exit from Snihurivka towards Kherson across the canal. This information was confirmed by the deputy of the Kherson regional council Serhii Khlan.

According to him, bridges in the village of Novokairy (Mylove village community, Beryslav Raion) and Mylove were also blown up.

The occupants are now blowing up absolutely all bridges on the right-bank part of Kherson Oblast. They are preparing their retreat in such a way in order to slow down the onslaught of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Khlan said.
