Shooting in Kryvyi Rih
On the evening of February 18, a shooting occurred in the courtyard of an apartment building in Kryvyi Rih. Preliminary reports indicate it was caused by a conflict between local residents. No one was killed or injured.
All the participants in the shooting have been identified, and law enforcement is currently solving the issue of detaining the suspects.
Purchase of ammunition
EU foreign ministers will meet on February 20 to discuss the idea of jointly purchasing 155 mm artillery rounds that Ukraine needs.
EU officials and diplomats say that a joint approach would be much more efficient than individual purchases.
Washington speaks with Musk
U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that U.S. officials have had a conversation with entrepreneur Elon Musk about the use of Starlink satellite communications in Ukraine.
This followed Musk's statement that SpaceX would not allow "an escalation of the conflict that could lead to World War III" when he commented on the use of Starlink by the Ukrainian military.
Macron opposes complete defeat of Russia
French President Emmanuel Macron said that he wants Ukraine to win the war, but he is against the complete defeat of Russia. He also reaffirmed his desire to help end the war through negotiations.
