✅ Did Ukraine’s Security Service Secretly Detain People?
In July 2016, two international human rights organizations published a report entitled “You Don’t Exist.” According to the report, Ukraine’s Security Service set up secret detention facilities where they kept numerous people, believed to have pro-Russian views, between 2014 and 2016. The SBU denies this. However, Hromadske has gathered evidence that confirms the existence of these detention facilities. We also spoke with Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE SMM to Ukraine Alexander Hug and Hromadske’s editor-in-chief Angelina Kariakina about the investigation.
