✅ How Did Milos Zeman Win Czechia’s Election?

Incumbent Czech President Milos Zeman has just won a second term in the second round of Czechia’s presidential race. ✅ The Death of Stalin and Russia’s Culture Wars

This week, the Russian Culture Ministry blocked the release of “The Death of Stalin” in Russian theaters. The new comedy by Scottish director Armando Iannucci satirizes the power struggle that ensued after the death of Soviet dictator Josef Stalin in 1953. But the Russian authorities have found the movie offensive and possibly even “extremist” — to the point that they sent police to stop a showing. Moscow-based journalist Matthew Bodner was at the theater when the police came and spoke with Hromadske about the controversy.
