Since January 29th till February 5th, 19 ukrainian soldiers, 1 emergency service worker and civilian killed, 79 soldiers injured in the Eastern region of Ukraine. These events mark rapid intensification of shelling in Donbas conflict between Russian-backed separatists and Ukrainian soldiers.
Multiple international representatives expressed their concern on deteriorating humanitarian and military situation. Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko urged along with trilateral group in Minsk urged for ceasefire to be reestablished. OSCE Monitoring mission recorded “thousands of ceasefire violations” from both sides. Ukrainian spokespeople say they only attack “in response”
