"Ukraine Is in Forefront of Struggle for Human Freedom" – Yuval Noah Harari

Best-selling author of "Sapiens: А Brief History of Humankind" and "Нomo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow" and Israeli historian Yuval Noah Harari recently visited Kyiv for the first time. We could not miss an opportunity to discuss a few things with one of the most prominent philosophers of our time. During our interview, Harari told us why Ukraine interests him specifically, discussed modern warfare, the dangers of "authentic politics", as well as touching on the topic of fake news.

"Ukraine is one of the most interesting and important places in the world because it’s in the forefront of the struggle for human freedom both against internal dictatorship and external invasion and imperialism," Harari said about Ukraine.
