The Ukrainian government will cooperate with Microsoft in documenting Russian war crimes in Ukraine, says Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian government will cooperate with Microsoft in documenting Russian war crimes in Ukraine, says Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

Ukrainian representatives agreed with Microsoft President Brad Smith to cooperate at a meeting in Davos. The Microsoft team also plans to contribute to Ukraine's digital industry rebuild.

Fedorov said that the company widely supported Ukraine during the war and promised to continue support. Microsoft became one of the first companies to suspend all new products and services sales in Russia in early March and also provided free cloud services for Ukraine until the end of 2022.

"Microsoft estimates that its initiatives have provided $242 million worth of digital support for Ukraine. These include financial grants, promotional campaigns, and free access to the company's products, services, and equipment," says Fedorov.

In addition, the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation has good news for gamers: Xbox is to be officially launched in Ukraine with the Ukrainian language available on consoles.
