This Is What New Ukraine 'Ceasefire' Really Looks Like

Located 15 kilometers from Debaltseve, Myronivskyi in the words of the Ukrainian forces is “quite calm” in comparison to before the ceasefire, when the village itself was heavily shelled.

Separatist forces, however, continue to bombard the surrounding area. Out of the village residents, only the elderly remain. After surviving the WWII and working for many years in Soviet collective farms, the two elderly ladies Hromadske encounter are in a state of despair. They have nowhere else to go and no one to take care of them.
