✅ Ukraine’s former president Viktor Yanukovych will now testify via video link from Russia on November 28, as a witness in the court case in Kyiv against five former members of the ‘Berkut’ riot police who are charged with the killing of Euromaidan activists.
✅ Interfax reports approximately 100 activists from the Right Sektor movement blockaded the exit from Kyiv’s Lukyanivske detention facility, where the five men are being held, forcing the scheduled November 25 court hearings to be postponed. Members of the radical political group have threatened more disruptive action.
✅ Yanukovych is wanted by the Ukrainian government to face charges of orchestrating mass shootings of protesters and embezzlement. More than 100 anti-government protesters in total were killed during clashes between protesters and the Ukrainian security forces in February 2014.
