Sale of medicines

Belarus and Russian nuclear weapons

Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has said that Western countries are trying to drag Belarus into a war and that is why the country needs nuclear weapons.

At the UN Security Council meeting, Russian Permanent Representative Vasily Nebenzya said that Russia was transferring Iskander to Belarus and setting up a storage facility for tactical nuclear weapons for the security of the "Union State". Belarus' permanent representative, Valentin Rybakov, called on other countries not to interfere in internal affairs and to take care of their own countries.

And President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia's deployment of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus would indicate an unsuccessful meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping — and also about Lukashenko's complete loss of any identity.
