Return of the draft law on mobilization

The draft law on mobilization was withdrawn from consideration in the parliament on January 11. Following a closed-door meeting of the Conciliation Board, it was decided to return the bill to the initiator, the Cabinet of Ministers.

A court has arrested the property of Lviv businessman Ihor Hrynkevych's family - real estate, premium cars owned by his family, as well as property and accounts of companies controlled by him.

Meanwhile, Hrynkevych's wife, Professor Svitlana Hrynkevych, resigned from Lviv Polytechnic. The students of the university demanded that she be suspended from the educational process for the period of investigation of her husband.

New assistance from partners

Latvia has also announced a new military aid package for Ukraine. In addition to drones and ammunition, it will include howitzers, anti-tank weapons, missiles, grenades, and helicopters. Latvia will also provide communication devices, generators, and equipment.
