New successes near Robotyne
Ukrainian troops made gains to the south and southeast of the village of Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region. At the same time, they repelled attacks by Russian occupation forces there and in other areas, the General Staff reported.
"Ukrainian soldiers are bravely holding the line, repelling more than 10 enemy attacks in the areas of Robotyne and Novodanylivka in Zaporizhzhia region. They were successful in the areas south and southeast of Robotyno and are consolidating the achieved positions," the statement said.
Veto of the law on declarations
On the morning of September 12, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy vetoed the law on electronic declaration, which provided for not opening declarations for another year.
"I think everyone understands the reason for this veto. The declarations should be revealed immediately. Not in a year, but now the register should be disclosed," the president said.
Zelenskyy emphasized that MPs should vote for the main amendment on open declarations, "preferably quickly". MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak noted that the Rada could hold a vote "in the twentieth of September".
Suspicion for resisting police officers
On September 12, police served a notice of suspicion of resisting a law enforcement officer on a woman involved in an incident in Dnipro, during which a patrol policeman fatally wounded an aggressive man.
