To make them feel that we are not only talking about it, not only promising, but we are really coming back, raising our flag.

The flag of Ukraine was raised in liberated Kherson

On November 14, the flag of Ukraine was solemnly raised in Kherson, liberated from the Russian occupation troops, on the central square of the city. The ceremony was attended by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This was reported by the Office of the President.

12 settlements have been liberated in Luhansk Oblast

Ukrainian Defense Forces have officially liberated 12 settlements in Luhansk Oblast. This was reported by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhii Haidai.

He said that the advance is not easy and liberating every meter of Luhansk Oblast is very difficult. Currently, heavy fighting continues, it takes place every day. Russian occupation troops are shelling the recently de-occupied settlements.

Military aid from Canada

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced additional military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $500 million. The country will also impose sanctions on 23 employees of the Russian justice and security sector, including police officers, investigators, prosecutors, and judges. This is reported on the website of the Prime Minister of Canada.

This additional military assistance will support Ukrainians as they bravely continue to fight against Vladimir Putin's illegal invasion, while these new sanctions will put added pressure on those who support these acts of war,” Justin Trudeau said.

New US sanctions

US Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen announced a new package of sanctions against companies and people who worked on the purchase of military technologies for the Russian occupiers in the war against Ukraine. It is reported by Reuters.

Yellen said that the sanctions will apply to 14 individuals and 28 legal entities, including financial intermediaries. However, the Secretary did not specify who exactly will be included in the sanctions list and what the imposed sanctions provide.

According to her, this new package will be part of the United States' efforts aimed at hindering Russia's military actions and disrupting the supply of weapons needed by Russia through sanctions and export controls.
