Zelenskyy's visit to Prykarpattia, drones in Moscow, and talks with the US: highlights of July 30

Zelenskyy visits Prykarpattia
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a working visit to Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.
There, he inspected the Center for Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, equipped with modern equipment for fully restoring patients' health. The Center utilizes the experience of foreign specialists.
The President talked to the defenders undergoing treatment and presented them with state awards.
The President also chaired a Congress of Local and Regional Authorities meeting. According to the head of state, the agenda of the meeting included:
- energy and protection of Ukraine's energy infrastructure from Russian attacks;
- international politics, implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and preparation for the Global Peace Summit, security guarantees for our country, and the start of negotiations on joining the European Union;
- budget expenditures at the state and local levels.
Peace Formula to be discussed in Saudi Arabia
The Office of the President of Ukraine has confirmed that a meeting on Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Peace Formula will be held in Saudi Arabia.
The head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, noted that each point of the Peace Formula is discussed almost weekly in an individual and group format with representatives of more than 50 countries.
The day before, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing its own sources, that Saudi Arabia plans to hold two-day peace talks on Ukraine in early August.
Ukraine plans to receive security guarantees from the United States
Ukraine will start negotiations with the United States on a bilateral agreement on security guarantees. These will be in effect until Ukraine becomes a NATO member.
The talks will take place next week within the framework of the Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine signed by the leaders of the Group of Seven countries.
Drones attacked Moscow
The Russian Ministry of Defense said that on the morning of July 30, the “Kyiv regime” attacked targets in Moscow with drones.
It claims that one drone was destroyed in the air. Two more drones were allegedly suppressed by electronic warfare.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the drones lost control and crashed on the territory of the Moscow City non-residential building complex.
Ukrainian saber fencers take 4th place at the World Championships
Ukraine's women's fencing team with Olga Kharlan lost to saber fencers from South Korea in the third-place match at the World Championships.
