Sweden allowed to hit Russia with its weapons

Sweden allowed Ukraine to attack the Russian Federation with the weapons that Stockholm handed over to it.

As the Minister of Defense of the country, Pål Jonson, noted, Ukraine is the object of an unprovoked and illegal aggressive war by Russia, and therefore has the right to defend itself with the help of "military actions directed against the territory of the enemy, if these actions comply with the laws and customs of war."

Germany still opposes this. The chancellor of the country, Olaf Scholz, said that the goal of his policy towards Ukraine is to "prevent the conflict from escalating into a major war."
