Ukrainian developers create domestic analogue of China's Mavic drone

Ukrainian specialists have developed a domestic version of the Chinese Mavic drone, which is used for reconnaissance and dropping ammunition on the enemy and equipment, announced Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
Brave1 cluster members managed to create the drone. According to the minister, they have been working on the development since June. Currently, there are already three analogues of the Mavic operating at the front - Linza, Zum, and Shmavik.
Fedorov said that such drones are adapted to the realities of war: they are equipped with an integrated communication system, resistant to enemy EW, and also have automatic landing and a "return home" mode.

According to the digital transformation minister, the Ukrainian military is already actively using these drones at the front and "give great feedback" .
“The Mavic is one of the most popular drones on the front line, it's simple, efficient and cheap. This is consumable material for the military, the unit can lose five such ‘birds’ per day. At the same time, the Mavics are difficult and expensive to import, so creating a Ukrainian analogue is a top priority," Fedorov stated.
