Massive drone attack in Odesa Oblast: man killed, critical infrastructure damaged
Overnight, Russian troops carried out a massive drone attack on Odesa Oblast. A 77-year-old man was killed, as reported by regional governor Oleh Kiper.
During the air raid, the Russians also attacked the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district with a ballistic missile. It hit an empty sanatorium, almost completely destroying the building.
The strike also damaged critical infrastructure in Odesa, leaving parts of the city without electricity, water, and heating. In addition, debris from the downed drones damaged private homes in the suburbs of Odesa, and a fire broke out. Emergency services arrived at the scene.
One person died from shrapnel wounds. He was a 77-year-old resident of the village of Lymanka.
Information about other casualties is being clarified.
