The 1st Corps of the Ukrainian National Guard "Azov" reported on social media about a joint operation with other units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces, as a result of which the Russians lost the ability to use the port of Mariupol.

In addition to the 1st Azov Corps, the operation was carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine’s departments in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Special Operations Centre “A,” and the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces.

The operation resulted in the destruction of critical infrastructure at the Mariupol commercial port: power substations, radar equipment, repair facilities, the control tower, and storage tanks containing fuel and lubricants, as well as the sanctioned cargo ship Lady Augusta, which is part of Russia’s shadow fleet.

Azov calls this operation “yet another painful blow” to Russia, which will now be unable to use the port, as it has been completely cut off from power, and the logistics of Russian troops have been significantly complicated.
