Anti-corruption bodies of Ukraine charged a lawmaker over illegal enrichment for more than 11 million hryvnias ($278,217). The name of the person involved is not revealed, but hromadske sources said that Andriy Klochko from the Servant of the People faction is in question.

In 2020-2021, he acquired various properties, however, according to law enforcement officers, neither the official income and savings of him and his wife during this period, nor the income of his relatives was enough to purchase it.

Macron explained when he may send troops to Ukraine

French President Emmanuel Macron specified what exactly would make him "think" about the introduction of French ground troops into Ukraine. He named two conditions for this : if Russia breaks through the front line, and Ukraine turns to the French government for help.

"I have a clear strategic goal: Russia cannot win in Ukraine. If Russia wins in Ukraine, there will be no security in Europe," said the French leader.

Battles for Chasiv Yar

According to the head of the town’s military administration, Serhiy Chaus, hostilities continue "on the border" of Chasiv Yar. Despite this, there are still 682 civilians in the town who do not want to evacuate.

Most of them are elderly people who refuse to evacuate because they do not want to leave their homes. The head of the military administration says that it was not possible to evacuate any residents of the settlement this week.

115th Brigade responds to accusations of the breach of Ocheretyne defense

The soldiers of the 115th Separate Mechanized Brigade claim that the founder of the DeepState project, Roman Pohorily, who claimed responsibility of the brigade command for the failure of the defense in the village of Ocheretyne, spread false information.

The brigade said that its fighters continued to fight with the enemy, which was 10-15 times superior to the troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They also allege that it was the brigade that replaced the 115th that lost the defense lines. An official investigation into all the events in Ocheretyne is currently underway.

Details of the first peace summit

The first peace summit for Ukraine, which will be held on June 15-16 in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, will become a platform that will start the future peace process, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

Heads of state and government from all continents were invited to participate in the summit. According to Zelenskyy, all the invited states demonstrated their commitment to the principles of international law.
