Russia attacks rest area in Kharkiv Oblast: 5 dead

According to the latest data from local authorities, there are five dead civilians. There are also at least eight wounded. The Russian troops hit an area where locals were resting, Synegubov said.

Among the wounded is an emergency paramedic. The ambulance was also damaged.

Oleksandr Hololobov, the head of the Mala Danylivka territorial community, clarified to public broadcaster Suspilne that the Russians hit a summer vacation spot. All the wounded are civilians.

At around 11:00 a.m., residents of Kharkiv heard a powerful explosion. Another one rang out about 20 minutes later, Mayor Ihor Terekhov said.
