Ukrainian drone attacks Russian over-the-horizon radar station 1,800 km away, marking new distance record

A drone of Ukrainian intelligence attacked the Russian over-the-horizon radar station Voronezh-M, which was located in the city of Orsk, Orenburg Oblast – 1,800 kilometers from the border with Ukraine, a source in the special services told hromadske.
According to our source, the distance of more than 1,800 kilometers covered by the Ukrainian drone became a new record range of damage for kamikaze drones.
The consequences of the attack are currently being clarified. Russian Telegram channels claimed that "a drone fell" near Orsk, and that its target "may have been a military object."
Previously, the most distant target attacked by Ukrainian drones was an object in the Republic of Bashkortostan, which is located 140 kilometers closer to Ukraine than Orsk.
Voronezh-M is part of the family of Russian stationary long-range over-the-horizon radar stations. They are designed to detect space and aerodynamic objects, in particular ballistic and cruise missiles. This radar has a target detection range of up to 6,000 km.
