Nighttime attacks on oil depots in the Rostov region of Russia are the work of the Security Service of Ukraine.

This was reported by an informed source to hromadske.

Two oil depots — Azovskaya and Azovnefteprodukt, which have a total of 22 fuel tanks — were attacked by SBU drones.

Local residents heard a series of explosions. It was especially loud in the area of the railway station and near the port, where oil depots and fuel terminals are located.

After the attack, powerful fires broke out at the facilities, the source stated.

According to our source, the destruction of the Russian oil refinery complex is necessary to reduce the economic potential of Russia, which provides the occupiers with resources to wage war against Ukraine.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that a 5,000 cubic meter fuel tank was on fire. A fire train was used to extinguish the fire. The governor blamed Ukraine for the attack. The Russian Defense Ministry has not yet commented on the situation.
