Ukrainian military destroys Russian Su-25 in Donetsk Oblast
Anti-aircraft fighters of the 110th Mark Bezruchko Separate Mechanized Brigade shot down a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft in Donetsk Oblast, reported the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troop Grouping.
The Russian plane was shot down in the Pokrovsk sector. The military said that now the Russian plane "is burning up in the steppes of the Ukrainian Donbas."
Earlier, a Russian Su-25 was shot down by the fighters of the 31st Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. Over the past six months, the Defense Forces have destroyed more than 30 aircraft of the Russian army.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, since February 24, 2022, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have destroyed 360 Russian warplanes and 326 helicopters.
