New fragments of a Russian Kh-101 missile are found on the territory of the Okhmatdyt hospital in Kyiv. The communiqué of the NATO summit will define Ukraine's path to the Alliance as “irreversible”, CNN reports. The situation in the energy sector is expected to improve in July. Strike on Okhmatdyt: new evidence

The SBU has found new evidence that Russian troops targeted the Okhmatdyt hospital with an Kh-101 cruise missile. In particular, investigators found new debris at the site of the attack.

At the same time, Russian propagandists and officials claim that Ukrainian air defense is to blame for the destruction of the hospital.

The UN confirms that a Russian missile hit Okhmatdyt, but adds: “there is no final conclusion” yet.

Meanwhile, emergency rescue operations have been completed at the hospital. As a result of the Russian attack, 2 people were killed and 32 wounded sought medical care.

It has been established that 627 children were in the hospital at the time of the attack on Okhmatdyt. So far, almost 100 patients have been transported to other medical facilities in Kyiv. Several countries have agreed to accept Okhmatdyt patients for treatment.

Attack on an airfield, oil refinery and power substations in Russia

On the night of July 9, the Ukrainian military attacked a military airfield, an oil refinery and a power substation in Russia. A source told hromadske that the SBU and the GUR were behind the attacks.

The explosions occurred at the Akhtubinsk military airfield in Astrakhan region, a 500 kV power substation in Rostov region, and an oil tank farm in Kalacha-on-Don in Volgograd region.

CNN: NATO summit communiqué to chart Ukraine's path

The draft joint communiqué of the NATO summit will define Ukraine's path to joining the Alliance as “irreversible”, CNN reports, citing three unnamed sources familiar with the matter.

At the same time, representatives of several universities in Europe and the United States signed an open letter calling for Ukraine not to be invited to join NATO because of the risk of war between the Alliance and Russia.

Improvement in the energy sector is expected

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that the situation in the energy sector is expected to improve around July 20. He explained that repairs at some generation facilities will be completed, and this will increase the capacity of the power system. So the blackouts will not be as long.

Some entrants are allowed not to register

Persons liable for military service under the age of 25 who live in the temporarily occupied territories or have left these territories for other countries may not register for military service when applying to Ukrainian higher education institutions.

Boholyubov is suspected of traveling abroad

Law enforcement officers have served a notice of suspicion to former PrivatBank co-owner Hennadiy Boholyubov. A border guard who assisted him in illegally crossing the border also received a notice of suspicion.

Law enforcement officers found that the businessman left the country using an invalid passport of another Ukrainian citizen.

Ukrayinska Pravda reports that Boholyubov left the country using the passport of a 67-year-old resident of the Volyn region who lost his document in the spring of 2022.

Volunteer: “Poisoned drinking water was brought to Okhmatdyt”

Kateryna Terekhova, a Kyiv-based volunteer and head of the HELP IN MUKACHEVO foundation, who took part in the debris removal at the site of the missile attack on the Okhmatdyt hospital, said that unknown persons had brought poisoned water there. According to her, two policemen suffered chemical poisoning. Kyiv police said they were checking the information.
