Bloomberg: Ukraine received the first F-16s

Bloomberg, citing sources, writes that the first batch of promised F-16 fighters from NATO allies has arrived in Ukraine.

However, it is unclear whether trained Ukrainian pilots will be able to use the F-16 immediately, or whether the process will take more time.

Kyiv Post: Ukrainian intelligence hit the Russian base in Syria

Fighters of the Khimik special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense struck a Russian base in Syria, writes Kyiv Post, which got access to exclusive photos and videos of this operation.

The target of the DIU special forces was Russian military equipment located at the Kuweires airfield, east of Aleppo. The Russians seized it back in 2015.

An Azov prisoner of war died in a Russian pre-trial detention center

The death of a Ukrainian prisoner of war Oleksandr Ishchenko, who served as a driver in the Azov Brigade was reported in a detention center in Rostov-on-Don.

The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War is already investigating the circumstances of Ishchenko's death. At the same time, ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets addressed an urgent letter to the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation regarding the death, and also informed the ICRC and the UN about this case.

Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence completed a massive cyber attack on Russian resources

Hackers of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense completed their massive DDOS attack on the Internet infrastructure of the Russians, which lasted almost a week. As a result of the attack, it was possible to hit the largest banks and government resources of the Russian Federation. Among them are VTB-Bank, Alfa Bank, SberBank, resources of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

PM Shmyhal: Sanctions against Lukoil do not threaten the security of Slovakia

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has held several conversations with his Slovak counterpart Robert Fico in recent weeks. In particular, they discussed the ban on the transit of Russian Lukoil oil.

Ukraine will be able to produce 3 million drones per year

Ukraine has enough capacity to produce 3 million drones of various types per year, but funding is needed, said Anna Hvozdyar, Deputy Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine.

She also added that if millions of drones are produced, then millions of ammunition are needed for them.

NYT: Ukraine conscripts up to 30,000 people into the army every month

After the adoption of the law on strengthening mobilization in May, Ukraine is recruiting up to 30,000 people into the army every month. This is almost as much as the Russian army recruits every month, writes the New York Times, citing unnamed military experts with knowledge of this information.

Farion's daughter may be prosecuted

Ihor Sulyma, the lawyer of the suspect in the murder of Iryna Farion, said that her daughter, Sofya Semchyshyn, could be prosecuted for threats to his client Vyacheslav Zinchenko.
