Russia's Kursk Oblast authorities claim that Ukrainian army tried to break through border amid overnight explosions
The authorities of Russia’s Kursk Oblast said that at night, the Ukrainian military allegedly tried to break through the Russian border, but this was apparently prevented, reported the acting governor of Kursk Oblast, Aleksey Smirnov.
Information about the border breach came from the Sudzha and Korenevo districts. However, this was allegedly prevented thanks to the soldiers of the border guard, the armed forces and the FSB of the Russian Federation.
Smirnov also warned that in the near future there will be a lot of "information dumps" and urged not to trust them.
Overnight, an air raid alert was declared in Kursk Oblast due to the threat of a drone attack. According to Smirnov, 26 drones were allegedly downed over the region at night. The town of Sudzha came under fire. The authorities of Kursk Oblast claimed that five people were wounded, and Ukraine was blamed for the attack.
