“Everything is going according to plan” in Kursk region despite counteroffensive

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Russians have launched a counteroffensive in the Kursk region, part of which is controlled by the Ukrainian military. However, according to Zelenskyy, this “goes according to our, Ukrainian, plan.”

MP hits man in Kyiv

In the center of Kyiv, a man reported to the police that he had been hit by a member of the Ukrainian parliament. Law enforcement is already investigating the circumstances of the incident involving the MP.

Although law enforcement did not name the MP, a video of the MP from the Servant of the People party, Oleksandr Kunytskyi, was posted on social media.

Defense Forces destroy Russian fighter jet and commit sabotage

In the course of one of the operations, the servicemen of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine destroyed a Russian Su-30SM fighter jet in the Black Sea. The destroyed aircraft belonged to a regiment based at the Saki airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea.

In addition, the military of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Special Operations Forces mined and blew up a railroad in the Belgorod region of Russia. As a result, a freight car derailed.

Three ICRC staff members killed in Donetsk region as a result of Russian shelling

Russian troops attacked the village of Viroliubivka in the Donetsk region. Three citizens of Ukraine, who are staff members of the International Committee of the Red Cross, were killed there. Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets noted that the organization did not immediately condemn the attack.

“We already know about the shelling, but the ICRC, as well as the IFRC, is silent! No reaction, condemnation or expression of sympathy! This silence only covers up the criminal policy of the Russian Federation!” the official said.

Later, the ICRC did respond to the attack and condemned it.
