Russians hit market in Kherson: at least 5 dead

On the morning of October 1, Russian troops shelled the market in Kherson. As a result of the attack, there are dead and wounded, regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin reported.
According to his data, at least five people are known to have died, and three more were injured. The victims were taken to a medical facility.
The situation in the region
Over the past day, on September 30, Russian troops shelled the settlements of Burhunka, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Stanislav, Antonivka, Novovorontsovka, Nezlamne, Tomyna Balka, Shlyakhove, Mykilske, Tokarivka, Veletenske, Kizomys, Kachkarivka, Bilozerka, Mylove, Daryivka, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Beryslav, Starosillia, Zolota Balka, Pervomaiske and the city of Kherson.
The enemy also launched two missile strikes on the Beryslav district. The Russian military targeted critical infrastructure facilities and educational institutions. The aggressor also damaged an enterprise’s building, a humanitarian aid truck, and private cars. As a result of attacks, 17 civilians were injured.
