Ukrainian forces hit ammunition depot where ammunition from North Korea and guided aerial bombs were stored
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the successful destruction of the 67th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in Bryansk Oblast, according to the General Staff’s message on Telegram.
The warehouse was hit thanks to the cooperation of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other units of the Defense Forces.
According to available information, ammunition for missile and artillery weapons, including those that came from North Korea, as well as guided aerial bombs were stored in the warehouse. A significant part of them was located in the open air.
Explosions were recorded at ammunition depots. The local authorities have reportedly blocked the road near the arsenal. The results of combat work are being clarified.
Earlier the authorities of Russia’s Bryansk Oblast stated that air defense allegedly shot down 14 drones launched by Ukraine. Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the downing of 24 UAVs over Bryansk Oblast.
