Poland did not receive secret annexes to the Victory Plan of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy because it does not have the weapons he requested, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said on TVN24, according to Radio Liberty. Earlier, it was reported that the secret annexes referred to the transfer of long-range Tomahawk missiles.

"It is about the technical data of certain types of weapons. Zelenskyy was very unhappy that this got into the press and it was quite sensitive. He wanted to keep it a secret, and it didn't happen. It was about types of weapons that we don't have," he explained.

Previously, the New York Times, with reference to high-ranking US officials, wrote that Zelenskyy, in the secret part of his Victory Plan, requested long-range Tomahawk missiles from the allies. The Ukrainian president was outraged by this, saying that "there is nothing confidential between the partners."

At the same time, Sikorski assured that Poland and Ukraine remain close allies and reiterated that Poland has provided Ukraine with significant assistance: "Let me remind you that we gave more tanks than the United States, Germany, France, and Britain combined."

In addition, the Polish official noted that the shooting down of Russian missiles over Ukraine may be discussed at the NATO ministerial meeting next week.

Poland and Victory Plan

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski said that Poland wants to get acquainted with the secret annexes to the Victory Plan of Ukraine and will contact the Ukrainian side about it.

According to him, Zelenskyy apparently decided not to provide secret annexes to those partners who "have nothing to strengthen us with." Bartoszewski said that he was surprised by this interpretation of the Ukrainian president.

Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Ukraine did not provide Poland with secret annexes to the victory plan, although it did so for some other partners, because Kyiv now "in some sense does not count" with Warsaw.
